intensiva tanto directamente en platos como en mezclas para adobar carnes de cerdo, cabra o pollo antes de asarlas a la barbacoa, para que tenga el perfecto sabor caribe\u00f1o el fuego de la barbacoa debe prepararse con la madera del mismo \u00e1rbol de la pimienta de ah\u00ed el nombre de &#8220;<i>Jerk<\/i>&#8220;, tambi\u00e9n es habitual que las carnes se rellenen o envuelvan en las hojas del \u00e1rbol de la pimienta para cocinarlas y si quer\u00e9is preparar un licor t\u00edpico jamaicano, dejar macerar bayas de pimienta de Jamaica en ron, a este licor se le denomina &#8220;<i>Pimento \u00e1rbol del pimiento si dispon\u00e9is de le\u00f1a o retama de mirto puede hacer las veces, sino una madera arom\u00e1tica como los sarmientos de las vides, le\u00f1a de naranjo o de encina, pueden ser un buen sustituto, sino un carb\u00f3n vegetal que sea bueno nos puede servir.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"2\">Si no tenemos barbacoa una plancha nos har\u00e1 las veces, aun que ya os digo que no ser\u00e1 lo mismo o tambi\u00e9n podemos optar por hacerlo al horno, unos 30 o 40 minutos a 250 grados, aun que ya sab\u00e9is que depende muchos del grosor de los trozos y del horno que us\u00e9is.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"3\">Para prepara el pollo, una vez tengamos la barbacoa o el horno caliente, debemos escurrirlo bien, para ello podemos usar un papel de cocina para quitarle el sobrante de liquido, cuando este seco lo untamos de aceite y lo asamos lentamente en la barbacoa (unos 30 minutos
